I need to start off by saying THANK YOU to Ashley Gerrity Photography for allowing me to accompany her as a second shooter on such a wonderful occasion. I was so honored to have been able to work under her.
Emily and Sean were adorable and so fantastic to work for. Their love story has spanned over 5 years and you could tell that they were already part of each other’s families long before the wedding day was a reality. They met in college at Widener University and from what I gathered from the MOH toast and the Best Man toast they were pretty inseparable from the start.
I started off my part of the day with Sean and his groomsman. They were HILARIOUS. I seriously had so much fun spending time with them, getting to know them, aaaaand falling off a stool in front of. They were all very sweet and came running to my rescue but the embarrassment had already set in by that point.
The boys could not have been more relaxed as the exciting day started and their energy certainly transcended over when I got to meet up with the Bridesmaids and the rest of the Bridal Party at the Church. Everyone arrived in style by Trolley and sailed through the ceremony with smiles and the two cutest little flower girls you ever did see.
Once everything at the church wrapped up we all headed over to Meadowlands Country Club where we gathered around for group photos. The boys were very insistent about wanting to attempt a pyramid but we felt it was a little too early in the evening to try something of that feat. Once we got all the group photos out of the way we got to spend a little more time with just Emily and Sean. They were adorable together and you could tell they just felt so comfortable in each others arms.
Their cocktail hour was serenaded by a live piano player with plenty of food stations to satisfy every food craving you could have. Once the reception got underway with a very sweet first dance the Maid of Honor and the Best Man took the stage for their toasts and they were the best.ever.
Once the dance floor opened up there was no stopping it. This crowd knew how to move it! And now we’re going to move right along to their photos!
