Elliott & Diana’s wedding was perfectly nestled among the forest overlooking the gorgeous Arrow Park Lake. Their venue was like a castle, towering above you, stone work, and every room full of character.
The weather was threatening all day and while we thought we would be able to catch a break before the ceremony it just wasn’t in the cards for us. You would have never guessed how hard the rain was pouring down though because the ceremony was so full of family, love, and excitement for what was happening. Elliott & Diana were perfectly comfortable nestled up in one another’s arms not caring what was happening outside of the embrace and shared looks they had for one another.
After the ceremony we finally got the break in the rain we had been hoping for and were able to jump outside for a few quick portraits. After portraits the couple got to mingle with all their guests at cocktail hour and then headed down to the reception space where the floor turned into a night club with just about every guest dancing the night away and singing along to some of music’s greatest hits.
Thank you to Dustin Cantrell for asking me to accompany him as a second shooter for Elliott and Diana’s wedding. I’m so glad I was able to witness such caring people embark on the exciting journey of marriage!
