IGNITE Workshop’s Wintery Wedding Styled Shoot at a Farm in Pocono, Pennsylvania
I can’t believe its been one year since I attended the IGNITE Workshop. The workshop, hosted by NJ Spark, a group of Christian women who meet once a month to talk Scripture, business, and life in general. I went into the workshop hoping take away one or two important pieces of information to apply to my photography business but really unsure of what I would even encounter since I had never attended a workshop before. It only took about 15 minutes into the first presentation for me to realize that I was going to get more than my weight in gold by the end of the day. I walked away with a confidence that I.could.do.this! The direction my business has gone in since then has become more than I could ever hoped for. Since then I have shot OVER 40 weddings and continue to work such amazing couples.

One of the most influential portions of the workshop for me was about posing. My goal as a photographer is to not make you look like someone you’re not but instead highlight the natural chemistry you and your partner have. I don’t want to pose you, only direct you to help encourage the smile and laughter that I know the two of you share on a daily basis!
This workshop cemented for me the kind of candid, documentary style that I wanted to emulate and share with you so you can remember your wedding day exactly how it happened…with no emotional filter.
