Intimate and Elegant Spring Wedding at Garth Coffeeshop & Art Gallery in Columbia, Pennsylvania
I was so thrilled when Nicole reached out to me regarding her intimate wedding. Not only did she sound SO sweet on the phone but I could also tell how much she was looking forward to her wedding day. And then she told me her wedding venue.
Wait for it…
A COFFEESHOP! AND ART GALLERY!
How amazing is that?! I was beyond thrilled that I would get to shoot a coffeeshop wedding but then she told me which coffeeshop and I was even more excited! Their venue was Garth’s, a local shop and gallery that my husband and I have visited quite a few times and in the town that we had just bought our first home in! I don’t think the stars could have aligned anymore than that.
When their wedding day came the weather could not have been more perfect. After some cold spells and rain the sun had decided to show itself and we got to enjoy a beautiful 80 degrees.
Surrounded by only their closest friends and family the two married just as the sun was setting with the most beautiful, softest light shining in through the windows. Afterwards, we walked around the street that Garth’s is located on, which also happens to be a registered historic street in the town of Columbia.
As the sun finally set we made our way back to Garth’s where we took a few family photos but their time was mainly focused on having a beautiful, candlelit dinner with their loved ones surrounding them.
Myron & Nicole, thank you so much for asking me to capture your special day. I wish you and your little family many years of happiness!
