Wooded Fall Family Session at Overlook Park in Lancaster, PA

Lynae found ourselves meeting one another just over four years ago when we were in a mutual friends wedding. I remember instantly enjoying her personality and presence and having a respect for the good human she is and that we should all strive to be. And then there was Martin, her husband. They were obviously two best friends living life together and at that time getting ready to welcome their first child into the world!

Fast forward those four years and Lynae and Martin now have TWO little bundles of goodness and are still some of my favorite people. I was beyond ecstatic when she reached out to me about photographing her family because I knew

1) they are super stylish and will show up looking fly

2) are so full of love and happiness that there is no way their session would radiate anything but

I knew right away where I wanted to take their photos. The Overlook Community Park has so many pretty beautiful locations within its property but there’s one specific part of the property that just gives off those Pacific Northwest vibes that all of us east coasters just crave for.

Thankfully the day of their session ended up being a super warm day after a whole streak of cold and miserable weather. We had so much fun with the kids, getting them to laugh and giggle. We explored the wooded area counting berries, finding caterpillars, and having daddy-daughter races. It was perfect. A perfect day. A perfect session. The perfect family.

Omgosh these are beautiful! Do you remember the rough date you took them? I’m getting marred November 22nd in Lanc, and would love it if we could get some wedding photos in this beautiful place (and for the trees to be similarly full!)
