Inspired Irish countryside sunrise session

Jory and Annie’s  photoshoot was a straight up inspired Irish countryside sunrise session. It made my dreams and goals of wanting to photograph a foggy Irish morning come true.

And I’ll be honest with you all…

I’VE NEVER SHOT A SUNRISE SESSION BEFORE THIS ONE!

As a sane individual who enjoys sleeping in over waking up before the crack butt of dawn I’ve always been cool with folks wanting to do a sunset session. But now that I know what folks are missing out on when it comes to sunrise I will recommending them more and more. The morning light was unreal. It was so creamy. Unbelievably golden. and SO.DARN.GOOD!

When I met Jory and Annie our session started alongside a creek. If you looked downriver the sky was just beginning to turn pink. Hints of the new morning was breaking through. As the sun’s dawn rays started to warm up the frosted landscape you could see the mist lifting around us. Fog rolled down the creek with the flow of water. There was total silence around us other than our conversation and music playing in the background. It was such a beautiful way to start.

Our mornings around here are in the 30s now a days and these two braved the cold and ditched their jackets. It didn’t take long for them to warm up though. Soon enough they were running around, swinging around, laughing, and loving up on the snuggles in one another’s arms.

After we wrapped up at our first location we drove over to our second spot. The second spot was a beautiful piece of road. It was bookended by rolling green on either side, lined with big impressive trees. A perfect backdrop for an Irish countryside sunrise session. The sun’s rays crested the hilltop and soon the whole scenery around us was set on fire. I couldn’t help but exclaim at how much like our current surroundings were that of one straight from Pride & Prejudice.

*fun fact: one of my all time favorite movies is Pride & Prejudice (2006)*

Once we finished up that morning we decided that the best way to warm up after a cold early morning photo session was to…

Indulge in some diner food 🙂

Which is exactly what we did!

Thank you, Jory & Annie for waking up early for me, spending some quality time together, and sharing with me a piece of your togetherness <3
